This document was last updated 2021-04-15

This changelog describes the different public frameo software versions that have been released along with one or more planned releases. It consists of two sections. One describing changes for Frameo Frame and the second describing changes for Frameo App that is currently available for iOS and Android.

We strive to have four release cycles a year for the frameo frame software.

• New system to provision Frameo Frame with a license. Licenses are now transferred from a SD card. In this process some device diagnostics tests are performed and build.prop is validated. • New servers in New York, San Francisco and Singapore. This should greatly reduce image transfer times for users in the USA and Asia. The frame will automatically pick the closest server based on the selected timezone.

• Strategy for wifi reconnect. This should solve issues where a frame would not correctly reconnect to Frameo servers.
